In a nod to history, Holibirthdays.com is being launched in honor of those with upstaged birthdays. Dubbed a “Philanthropic Generator” by its founder, holibirthdays.com exists as catharsis for those individuals while providing opportunities for friends and families to support them with gifts and recognitions of all the years they didn’t get to celebrate.
Holibirthday, LLC serves as the hub for a number of initiatives per James Zirbel, its founder. “No one has ever successfully addressed this giant sector of our populace; if they deserve someone’s attention, they certainly got mine.” Zirbel’s profile lists “innovation, leading through service and spreading joy”. A serial entrepreneur with several tech startups in the built environment technology spaces (CFS, Cap-Com, Basys Controls, OneEvent Technologies) he claims his greatest accomplishment was the SkillsUSA Facilithon, a national program introducing a new generation of high school students to facility management careers, which Zirbel calls “the liberal science of buildings”. “Our world is warming and while buildings use at least 40 percent of all energy, they waste 35% of it every day. Without a new generation of facility manager decision makers, we’ll be forever be held back by that boat anchor. The Facilithon creates us that #NextGenOfFM”.
